Policy and SOPs
Note: The following notes were written by a half dozen people in four brainstorming sessions at the "Getting People Onside" workshop at LIANZA09 - I'm merely the scribe.

- If you're not the policy writers, establish/maintain open lines of communication
- Be familiar with reasons behind the policies ie knowing any applicable legistration
- If changes needed backup with research/reasons

- Find kindred spirits within organisation
- Practice the answers and your approach
- Anticipate responses and have clear concise answers
- know your policy - find the policy that is causing you grief
- De-accessioning policies
- Do the writing and research first
- Develop your idea and know your strengths and weaknesses
